Had to take the carb off of the D12 tonight. It seemed to be running lean, and wouldnt run unless the choke was almost closed. I tightened the manifold bolts and not any better. When I took the carb apart the high speed jet was fully plugged with rust. It has 2 numbers on the brass tag 235975 and 12740. Which is the carb #, and what model would it be.
35WC on steel, B with belly mower, D17 puller, D15 Series II puller, D15 Series II with loader, 608 Lawn Tractor

you only need to know if it's Zenith or Marvel.
Get a gasket, clean the jet and reassemble it. Bob
