I am slowly putting information together on these Allis-Chalmers factories. Here is one on the Boston Works.

For your record Allis had some sort of manufacturing operation in Australia.
 
I only know of this via a recent project to revive a "Forty Five" grader.  Which has an Australian production serial number (and an engine without a # tag).
 
Which resulted in an extensive "show and tell" to get a rough location in terms of US part numbers
