I was able to buy my great grandpa's WD with 2 bottom mounted plow and 2 row cult. My grandma had gotten after my great grandpa had die about 24 years ago since her and my grandpa had a dairy farm. Its the tractor I grew up learning to drive on that and unload the chopper wagon. Grandpa died a few years ago and we lost grandma this past feb. My aunts and uncles are selling everything. Thanks to my mom, she took the tractor/plow/cult and my great grandpa's NH 66 baler as part of her inherntiance so I could have them. I just have to pay her back. I'll get pictures as soon as I can.

Consider yourself lucky and privileged. Puts a lump in my throat wishing I had realized the opportunity that was passing years ago.

Jim- Trust me I know. I'm going to sell my grandpa's MM ZT so I could afford it. Don't worry the ZT has been in parts my whole life. I was starting to have some panic attacks cause I was worryed that I wouldn't get it.

Congratulations!!! You have your GREAT GRANDFATHER'S TRACTOR.  Things like that should always stay in the family.
Take good care of them.  They have a special meaning to you.
Good Luck!

Very cool.  A lot of people have an antique tractor, but darn few have Great Grandpa's.

Congratulations on the tractor and also having a cool MOM!
Thanks

Thats awesome, & I thought getting my G-Pa's CCC chest was sentimental. Getting something he bought new & you have memories of is priceless. Hard to imagine that one day perhaps your grandkids will be getting it.

I myself got my great grandpa's wc for a graduation present last year. He bought the tractor new in 37. My great uncle painted it a few years back, but when I got it it didn't run. Now I'm in elbow deep restoring it and having a blast knowing how lucky I am. Be thankful and tell your mom thanks!
