Looking for a newer header for the K-2. I have a 12ft rigid with love floater. I would like a newer 12 or 13ft with floating bar and wobble box. What model numbers should I be looking for?

I would look for a 213 JD and adapt it to your K2.   MACK

Sad to say that is good advice. A CaseIH head would be  good too.

Which is easier to adapt?  Our 315 is wore out.  Is it possible to make auto header work?

How cost effective is it to adapt JD to Gleaner? Does anyone make adapter plates that old? Or will I have to build something.

I built my own. I looked at both CIH and JD  went with JD because I liked it better and easier to find. The JD 200 series is 6" narrower than the same size Gleaner. The 900 series will measure like the Gleaner.
Would in no way want a JD combine but the header is real good.  MACK
