Hauled some old equipment to a consignment auction today for another guy, and when I got there, low and behold sits a model 2000 4x16 plow.  I have kinda been lookin for one a while now and just wondering what its worth.  Its in pretty decent shape, besides the shares being pretty worn.  I am not sure if they are 387 bottoms or not, and they are the only new shares you can get anymore as I am aware.  It does not have hydraulic reset.  I don't think I will make it to the auction, but I was gonna have another guy bid on it for me.  How high should I tell him to bid?  Thanks for the input.

Hope it works out for you -- seems when I find something that should sell for scrap value, somebody else thinks it's worth more than gold -- but, the wife is always happy to see me come home with an empty trailer, LOL.

I gave $425 for one at a consignment sale last December, but I think it was just me and the auctioneer bidding. It had bad shares as well, now it has brand spanking new ones on it. (all dressed up and nowhere to go)
It seems I might have forgotten how to add photos! Maybe this edit will fix that problem.

If it weren't for the last minute, I wouldn't get anything done!

Well apparently somebody wanted it pretty bad.  Guy that I had bidding on it called me this afternoon when I was discing and said it sold for $700.  Guess I will have to keep looking.
