	Anyone know if there was an Industrial version of the Allis 440 tractor. Saw a yellow 440 today that had some different features then the 440 tractors I have seen. Most noticeable to me was the front frame under the radiator was different.

	Its gonna sound stupid but did it have the 555 engine or had it been a repainted steiger? Our was repainted Steiger green before sold new bc it couldn't be sold locally as an Allis years ago

	I have never seen an Allis repainted,However a local bought a origional Stieger (Wildcat)? this past summer and painted it Cat yellow, and put Cat Diesel Power stickers on it. It looks very sharp.

	Ours was originally sold new by Hoober Inc. Repainted and tagged as a Steiger along with several others that same year. We used ours to pull our 12 row strip till for a few years till upgrading to a MF 4880 for the job. We use it now for pulling mulch hay out of the fields w the semi trailers.
