Last week we were able to get all our plowing done with our two 8070s one with a 5 bottom and the other with a 6 bottom. Nothing funnier then plowing.

Does look like fun, one thing for sure, you shouldn't have had any shortage of power.

Are you plowing now because you weren't able to finish before frost came,or is it normal to spring plow in your area. What type of soil is that ,conditions look excellent. What gear or what speed were you driving, how many acres would both tractors plow in a normal day.Are the tractors both powershift or power director. They look good.

Well we always spring plow and id say we are the only ones that plow anymore in this area. We have heavy clay here. The one 8070 is a power director which we go 4th gear low side and the other is 8070 power shift in 4th low gear which is about 5MPH. THe power director does not have rear weights like the power shift one. I suppose if you went all day you could plow 50 acres a day. This ground had not been plowed for two years since dad was sick and we rented it out. Looks like a garden now lol. Glad you guys like the pics

Thanks for posting the pics. We never see plows like that in this country, those that plow use spinner (two way) plows to make irrigation easier.

Shameless: If it is a later toggle trip (no springs on top) the normal reset procedure is to back up with the plow still in the ground. I have a 710 4 bottom toggle trip semi mount. Automatic resets (with springs) should automatically reset (obviously). The 710s and 720s were generally thought of as great plows.
