My One Sixty pto turns all the time unless hooked to an implement.  Also impossible to put pto in gear with the implement hooked and with the tractor running.  Any Help?  Thanks

I'm not real familar with the 160, but lookin at the parts manual it has a 2 stage clutch, halfway in disengages the tractor movement and all the way in also disengages the pto. I would guess that either a clutch adjustment or new clutch if it can't be adjusted out. That should take care of the not being able to put the pto in gear.

Jeb  !  Rebuild  the  clutch assembly  before you  ruin something.  There  are some  parts in the  2  stage  clutch  that are  NOT  available  any  more. 

 I bought  the  last  pressure  plate  they had  several  years ago , be  careful with what you have.

Did you remove inspection plate  and adjust the PTO clutch .Do this frist .Not all of your adjustment is outside on clutch rod.
