Direct bolt in, no.  Will it work, yes.  Do you have the original 220 engine?

We're installing a 3500 MK II (same as 670T) in a 220 now. You will need to change the bottom rad inlet to the left side. Not sure about the front plate. My engine was a power
plant so we made mounting brackets for the 220 instead of changing the front plate which is a major job.
Nothing is impossible if it is properly financed

So when you put a power plant in a tractor do you have to change the pump settings?

My engine was on a water pump and had 82 original hours. The book said it was an 'on highway' engine. It has a variable speed govenor so we're good to go. Luckily the front plate had the mounting for a compressor which is the same as a hydraulic pump. If the engine is from a combine it will not have that opening. Front plates vary depending on application. Since this engine already had the hydraulic pump mount, it was simple to change the mounts to the tractor frame. A 670T may not mount any different that a 3500 MK II. It all depends on it previous application. The good part about the Mk II and 670 engines is the piston cooling. We added the intercooler. I just looked at some pictures of a 7030 that I'm picking up tomorrow and noticed that the front plate does not have the hydraulic pump mounts that you need. This will be the same on a 7045. I have a bad engine that could yield a front plate if you can't find one that loose somewhere.

Calvin, I have not seen a 3500 or a 670T engine with an inline injection pump like yours. Was that in a combine?

Pete, The engine discription is above. I was told that the 3500 MK II engine in big loaders also had an inline pump.
