Does any one make a small economicallly priced industrial diesel engine in the 10 to 20 HP range? Air or water cooled is OK. Thanks Tracy Martin
No greater gift than healthy grandkids!

Tracy, There are a host of very nice water and air cooled engines in the lower end of that size range built in Europe  but our friends at the EPA wont let them into the country anymore. I think you can still purchase a Yanmar  L100 which is 10HP and air cooled  but they are quite pricey, last I knew they were aroud $1700.00.  There are Chinese made clones of the Yanmar 10 HP that sell for $5-600 on Ebay under various names. They have a decent reputation as far as I know.  I have two Yanmars and they are sweethearts. There are also some Italian made Lombardini and Hatz diesels around. Check at The surplus Center for them.  Personaly I would find a used Lister HR or similar if whatever you are building is goingto see lots of hours.
