Turner Hay baler?

Have you guys ever heard of a Turner hay baler? It was manufactured in North Carolina I think. If you have any websites with infor or photos on them please post.

Wow......I thought my Dad bought the only two ever made!  LOL
They were the only ones I ever saw; orange in color, almost like Allis orange.
He bought one back in '59 or '60 and we could never get it to work satisfactorily, so he bought another "parts" machine. Even after using the best parts from both we never could get it to tie consistantly.
They were heavy old things and as I recall, were powered by a Wisconsin V-4.
There was a lot of good heavy channel and angle iron on them and really big wheels, tires and axle.
He finally sold the complete one.
My Dad built a real nice dump flatbed trailer using the axle and wheels.
I still have some of the channel and angle iron, a few gears and shafts and misc. parts floating around "in stock".
I think we had the operator's manual but it went with the baler.
Other than having heard of them, I really haven't been any help, have I?

It sounds that way Floyd! That is probably why their are not very many of them to be found and you can not find any information to speak of about the Turner balers on the Internet!

I did do a little searching and found that apparently in the old, old days Turner was a real "contender" in the stationary wire-tie balers.
