I found a 1976 7080 that "the input shaft is locked up" on. It has 2000 hours and a recent overhaul. It has been sitting for a few years. What do ya'll think its worth? What do ya'll think is the problem with the transmission? He said he was going through the field and it just locked up. The engine is free.

Michael, long time no post! How are things at the "new" MF dealer, ex AGCO? It seems like if the rest of the tractor is in good shape it might be worth a bit more then 2 grand.
Thats a lot of power. Interesting that the engine was rebuilt at before 2000 hours, maybe it's had a hard life. I assume it's in your part of the state, not too close to the mountains. Chuck Miller sold one last year near Briggsdale in non running condition. I didn't get to the sale so don't know what it needed or how much it sold for. Could it be the same one?

Hi John, things aren't going to bad out this way. The tractor is located in the Oklahoma panhandle. I've got a friend going to school down there at OPSU and he told me about it.
