I finally found a trailer suitable for hauling the WD around locally. I don't think I did too bad for $775. It has brakes on one axle for now, I may add brakes to the other axle down the road.
I got to try it out for the first time yesterday. Our church has a 'float' in the Christmas parade each year, so I volunteered (actually insisted) to pull it with the WD this year. The converted cotton wagon we borrow for a float was randomly covered with many different colors of garland, wreaths and bows - the best Big Lots had to offer. Sadly, I did not get a picture of the decorrated float. A few pictures of the tractor and the tractor hauler will have to do.

Nice trailer find there! How long is it? Also, how do you deal with the narrow front? Extra set of ramps? Final question, how does the 1/2 ton Dodge pull that set-up? I am in need of something just like that for my WD45.
Thanks Jeff

Have seen people use two ramps with a narrow frt. Run the frt up a ramp, have someone move the ramp over for the back whl.

I use 2 ramps with my NF WC. You just approach it like a B-C mower and go full right lock with the steering when the front wheels get on the deck.

Really nice looking WD there, Adam. I need a set of rear tires and really like those. May I ask what brand are they? Possibly foreign? Thanks in advance.

I was the only representative of the orange! I saw a nice Farmall Super A, and a new JD cab tractor. Not much of a tractor parade.
JK - I think the tires are Titans, or maybe Mitas? Brand - I'll look tomorrow and send you a PM. I think I remember seeing Turkey on them, but I'm not sure. My dad put them on there in 2000, and they have not seen much use. They had the size on top of the tread bars every so often, and that is just starting to wear away.
The trailer is 6'10" x 15'. It is well balanced, and is easy to balance the tractor on the trailer. For now I run the front tires up one ramp then straighten up and drive on the trailer, but I will be making another ramp ASAP. My 1500 handles it OK, and I do have the brake controller inthe truck. I don't try to go fast, and I don't try to climb mountains with it. I have moved the WD 180 miles between my house and the farm where I grew up with a '94 1500 with a 360, and it did OK. I wouldn't want to haul it every day, but for occaisional short hauls it is fine. Knowing your limitiations is important.

Adam, looks like you've got a good setup there. I was wondering how a 1/2 ton would handle that size tractor. I'm like you, if you take it easy with it, it works better. Electric brakes are a must though. Never know when you'll have to stop in a hurry. I shouldn't have a problem with my C behind the 1995 F-150 I have. I need to put the brake controller on it anyway, and that's a good excuse. Need to bring the tractor home from my son's so I can finish some winter repairs before spring. Glad to hear you're doing good. Dream.
