Yessir,, Pulled it right off the trailer and over to the barnyard, LOL. In fairness I must tell you it isnt a stock WD, has a 4 1/8 M&W kit.
The 9000 plow looking a bit better off the trailer and reassembled tail end. Hope to be able to share some vids of this one working in the spring behind the 220. Will put the two add-ons back on it for that.

It might pull it in the field if you weigh down the WD and plow 2 or 3 inches deep.

Butch, Are you going to pull 7 furrows with the 220? Is the plow an on land hitch? How are you going to ballast the 220? I plan to pull a 7 furrow 2500 on land hitch semi mount plow with my 220. I have Mexician hat duals and was planning on using 1500 lb Tyler inside wheel weights. There will also be extra things happening under the hood.

Semi-mount would give you a lot more traction.

Calvin, The hitch will go either way currently set for on land. The 220 will have fluid and duals plus a large rack up front. Our ground plows relativly easy, 7 on the 220 should not tax it. Our 220 has some extras under the hood too. Bob, semi mounted isnt an option for us, no hitch

Hey Butch maybe you should sell me that wd since you don't have any room in the barn:)
How much does a plow like that sell for if you don't mind me asking. I have a 190 XT series III with nothing to hook to it except for a woods blade. Do you own a chisel plow? What do you pull with the D19? |

Butch - I guess you didn't wait around long at all before going and getting that thing home! Good deal! I want to see picture with #6 & #7 bolted back on...hopefully you are not going to make me wait until spring to see it!!!! ;-)
Oh - how good of shape are the bottoms & coulters? I know you can't tell at all from a Craigslist picture. Mike Edited by Skyhighballoon(MO) - 13 Nov 2011 at 11:28pm |
