My D14 had wrong headlamps and I was trying to find some that look more correct.
 
I was looking for a set like original.  Most vendors seem to sell the bulb type that are like the ones on a B or C.   I think these are supposed to be a early verson of sealed beam with all metal shell.

Yes Rick you have it correct, Then they made an actual sealed beam to replace the metal shell ones that fit the original bucket. I have tried to find some of them for years, but have had no luck with that size. I don't know what to tell you on it. I havent been much help I guess.

Thanks.  Sounds like the original size lamp that fit the B style shell may not be available.   My D14 is also running 12V also so it is a bit complicated.

A few years ago I tried to locate 12V sealed bulbs for my 6V D14 headlights with no luck. Even with the help of several venders. Ended up purchasing aftermarket ones which got knocked off when brush cutting.
What this country needs is more unemployed politicians-and lawyers.
Currently have: 1 D14 and a D15S2.
With new owners: 2Bs,9CAs,1WD,2 D12s,5D14s,3D15S2s, 2D17SIVs,D17D,1D19D;1 Unstyled WC
