I use a WD with a front bucket to plow snow in winter. Most of the time I plow in the dark because it's dark when I go to work and when I come home.
The regular side headlights won't work because of the bucket and bucket brackets (now that's a mouthful).
I am considering buying a headlight from Farm and Fleet and mounting it somewhere on the tractor so I can see where I'm plowing snow. Have any of you tried this? If so, where would I mount the light?

I slide mine into the tractor and find they fit and work fine. Maybe you have a different loader though.

Some guys put lights on the hood or fenders. That is no way to treat a tractor. I would put lights on the loader frame, the part that dosent move. One on each side, can see where your going weather the loader is up or down.

I removed the two top hood bolts and put utility lights on using those bolts urn the wire down throught the temp guage hole. When I take the loader off it takes about 10 minutes to remove the lights. It also puts the light right where you need it.

We sell a flood lamp with a HD Magnetic base. They can be mounted anywhere there's metal. Once they're on, the magnet is strong enough to where you can just about pull it off! They work great. No need to drill holes. Take em' off when yer' done, or move em' to another Tractor. We offer them with a wiring system to go with them. Drop us a line if interested...

I don't know if this will help, I mounted my stick lights to work with my loader. I did it by tapping the pipe and using 2-1/2" 90 degree elbows and 2-12" X 1/2" pcs. of black pipe and rewired the lights with longer wire. I also replace the original head lamps with plow lights using the same housings. Email for complete details.
