Workin a shutdown in southeast illinois at Gibson Generating Station. You wouldnt believe how much ac stuff is in this place. Ive been here plenty of times and everytime i see more and more Allis stuff!!

Lots of motors and split case pumps were made by Allis in the 1950-60 era and put into power plants.... we have several also... PLUS a 200 MW Steam turbine and Generator set !
--Quite a few electrical breakers and transformers also..

Id like to see the steam turbine i bet its a cute little thing. The majority of ac stuff i see is breakers and transformers.

Many of the motors of 480VAC, 4160VAC or better in my facility are Allis, a few say Allis Siemens.

yea i was being sarcastic lol but a 200 is a little small compared to the 650s and 850s ive seen.
