I just bought a D-17 (Series II) and there is a New Idea bucket loader that comes with it that has been sittin' out in the weeds for quite a few years.
The hydraulic hoses that feed the rams connect to the shaft rather than the cylinder.
There are two hoses to each ram so I assume they are "two-way" rams.
I've never seen anything like that before; anybody else? If they are truly "two-way", I assume there must be two ports in the shaft, one on the upper side of the piston and one on the lower side and two separate holes down the length of the shaft to feed them?
I haven't gotten the stuff home yet and I only took a cursory look at the loader but the hose location struck me as unusual, to say the least.
It also comes with a set of 3-bottom plows that look to be in nice shape. They have the guide wheel on them like the ones discussed on here not too long ago. I had never seen that before and now I end up with a set; funny how things work out some times.
I may be looking to sell the plows.
