I was asked to help with the Allis Feature show for next year. I would like to find someone with a working 2 row corn head to bring to the show. Any other working or non working equipment will be displayed. We are just off I88 3 miles East of Joslin Il. and would like to see a flood of ORANGE show up. If you have any way to bring tractors and equipment, we will display it in fashion.
Field demonstrations, for insurance purposes, are limited to club members that show up at the safety meeting . So if you want to demonstrate your equipment in the field, you will have to join the club for the $25 yearly fee or let a club member run the equipment. If you register your equipment, at the show, you will get 2 badges for the weekend and no charge to enter. There will also be a parade daily and you don't need to be a member to drive in the parade.
So mark the dates on your calendar, book a room if you need it,(campers welcome, limited spots with power for campers), and plan to help make this the best show ever.

I've put it on my calender.  I have a 1966 Gleaner E with a 2 row , its not ready yet , but I'm planning to have it ready to be at Midwest Old Threshers , Mt Pleasant, IA .  We are also featuring AC. in 2012, the 5 days ending Labor Day.

Charlie, could you create a poster that could be printed off on the website?

Don, the more the merrier. We have had a pretty nice original Gleaner at the show the the last 2 years but I don't know what model it is or who owns it. It seems when your trying to help with the show, you don't even get to see all of it.
Bill, I'm sure that will happen, sometimes it's later than what some like. I'll talk to the guy keeping the site up and see if he can put up a PDF file up.
Cheri, I will  keep in mind your March meeting, maybe you can remind me of it a couple weeks before the meeting. :)  I kinda wanted to make up a poster but haven't got to it yet. The one I posted is just something Curt put together to update the website.
Thanks for the interest, Charlie

Bill and Cheri, If you go to the website (link below on my signature) just below the picture of the new poster is a link to download the poster. It is in PDF so you will need adobe reader to get it. You can then print out all you want. I can't cause my high priced wireless printer took a crap.

Crap, your show is the same week end as the Kokomo veterans reunion.  I am promised stick time in a huey next year and sure don't want to miss that.  Otherwise I would mount the disc tiller on the back of the WD45 diesel and bring it down.
Most problems can be solved with the proper application of high explosives.
