I need to replace the lower LH glass in the door of a AC cab on a 200 tractor. Is there anything special about the glass that a local glass company could not reproduce? If so, any links or contacts where I could find a replacement piece of glass? I better do it before the snow flies.
Thank you.

I wouldnt think it would be anything too special about it. I've never had a piece of glass cut for anything, but may need to do it in the future for a couple 7xxx tractors that I have. I'm sure that window you're looking for is just a piece of flat glass? If so, it shouldn't be a big deal. Just whether its tinted or smoked, or maybe tempered? then just get the shape you need. OR somebody may turn up with a used glass. Tried any junkyards? by the way..is it a factory cab? because someone posted a link to Year-a-round and hiniker cab replacement parts a while back.. -Wes

It safety glass, two panes held together with a glue. Same as a car windshield. A glass shop should be able to cut one for you, the trick will be the curves at the corners. If you make a template with cardboard and take it along, it shouldn't take too long to cut. I watched a guy replacing them in a school bus once. Neat stuff, you score one side and then flip it over and score the other side the snap it and then cut the glue at the break.

Eisenmann supply in Madison Nebraska has parted a 200 with a really good cab. The tractor had a loader on it and a vehicle struck the front part of the loader breaking the tractor right in the middle. Should have that glass piece still you can call them they would let ya know

I called Eisemann's this afternoon hoping they had one. The door is already gone. Hopefully they call back as I need some window brackets as well and they thought the cab still had those.

I used Lexine sheet, same thickness as glass, and cut my own window for rear of my 715B, the Lexine has held up well and been in almost 10 years now without scratching of discoloring. Also did one door window in same, just have to clean with wet cloth and not rub dry.
