Try turning the beaming screw in. Thats the crank handle on the plow.

It's been many years since I plowed with a WD-45 and a 3 bottom snap coupler plow.... probably over 45 years ago by now ...started farmin' with one of these old girls... wasn't that old then... If I can recall correctly (at 70 years of age it may be a problem)... but I remember making sure the rear skid shoe was adjusted properly... probably needs to be adjusted up a bit, so the plow can get a little deeper. Adjusting the beaming crank without the rear shoe set just right will put the plow on its nose... the result will be a hard pull and a lousy plowing job. I can remember that 45 of mine pulling those 3x16 like they weren't even there..late at night light, the stack glowing and listening to that power crater engine that seem to have a personality all its own. ... brings back memories...now I just listen to the radio and look at all those computer readouts... not the same.
