In your opinion what part or parts need to be remanufacted in any Allis model tractor.  We have a lot of great people ramaning items but they can't do it all. What parts should be looked at next( fenders, small items, what were you needing and couldn't find that would be worth wild remanufacturing. Thanks

purt near anything for the 5000 series tractors is impossible to find.
But I agree, D14 fenders would sell well too.

I second the B C and CA gas tanks.  They are cosmetic and a functional necessity.

Even if your tractor aint a show queen it still needs a gas tank.

Third for the B/C gas tanks. Actually any gas tanks for the older tractors. I'm sure they'd be hard (expensive) to manufacture.

Was anyone else shocked at the price of the tie rod ends for a 220/210? I found a used one in the salvage yard, I didn't think I would ever use a used tie rod end, but desparate times call for desparate measures!

If it weren't for the last minute, I wouldn't get anything done!

Internals for a D14 and D15 power steering pump. Several years ago I rebuilt the one on my D15 and AGCO did not make the gears. I was lucky that my uncle and dad ran an AC dealership and still just happen to have had some in the parts bin. They were the last ones. The only thing they didn't have was the bearing on the shaft which I was fortunately still able to get. I ended up with everything new, but I wonder how many people aren't that lucky.
Think for yourself and be your own expert. Be willing to change your mind; however, willingness to change your mind doesn’t mean that you will. Blindly following any path is the pinnacle of insanity.

I agree with the D-10 fenders. Or at least the lower part of the braces.

I reproduce several of the AC parts. There are plenty that need reproducing. The problem is cost, cost, cost. It is extremely hard to reproduce a low volume item and recoup your tooling cost. I know, I have tried, it is tough. Currently making the grill guard for D15-17 and have alot tied up in tooling. These look like originals that were produced in the 60's, not an AC item but aftermarket. Just about done with the early D10-12 and series III factory grill guards.Having interest in an item helps, but having a buyer is much better. I might add also, making it as close to original helps. Sometimes an improvement was needed and I try to incorporate it into the reproduction if it doesn't detract from functionality.Money is tight, and people tend to hang on to it.HTH Tracy Martin

Here's one for you, In the snap coupler slip scoop operators manual, there is an adjustable depth stop for the lift arms.  I have never seen one except in my slip scoop book.  I'd sure like to have one.  It bolts under the brake covers and has a crank under the seat to fine tune the depth.
Most problems can be solved with the proper application of high explosives.
