The service manual just says to lubricate the sealing rings and piston seals in my 7000's powershift with "lubriplate."  Lubriplate makes a lot of different greases and oils... what do I use to lubricate the seals.  Installing them on the piston/hub I dunked them in hydraulic/transmission fluid.  Does lubriplate refer to a special grease or oil I should use when installing the pistons into the housing and the rear clutch hub sealing section into the bearing retainer?

Uaualy when "lubriplate" is specified and no product number is given they mean the light bodied grease in the squeeze tube. Sold as motor assembly lube at most automotive places.

Sounds good, I have some Sta-Lube assembly lube from the transmission overhaul that is the light blackish colored grease/lube.  Thanks for the help! I'm guessing it's just to keep it lubed until the oil gets to everything.
