Wow, I've never seen an Allis 15 row planter ! Are those middle units closer together or is it just the picture making it look that way ?

Could be a bean planter, center on 15" , then over lap the outside rows to make all 15"s.

WOW, 2 single front WC's at the same sale. LOL  I think if I would have been there, that 720 might have gone a little higher.

I'd say based on the legth of the marker, it is for bean overlap planting like Don was saying.  I wished I'd been there, I don't know what it sold for, but I would have found a way to buy it, that would make a nice corn planter moving things around, and then have spare parts for years with the extra units!!!  I am thinking it would be  nice 12R30 planter if the bar were long enough.

What about the ten row no till?? I'm curious because the people that cut down big planters and make food plot planters shy away from air units.

Sorry about prices guys, only so much time in the day and these consignment auctions eat up the better part of a day.The 185 was a nice looking unit but a couple different guys tried starting with no luck.Smoke was coming out muffler so I assumed they had the fuel on.Checked auction website and no listed prices, guess auction service has no value in posting selling prices.
