Would like some info. on the Sherman step up trans. for the ca tractor. Does it perform well, Are they hard to come by, going price, pics, literature? Thanks Ron

  good luck hard to come by $500-600 range if you find one in my book  have seen 2 different ones

One of my lucky friends down the road below Henderson bought a nice CA widefront near San Antonio fitted with a Sherman. He is not a real AC guy and just needed a small tractor to pull a hay rake. I hope a little of his kind of luck rubs off on me.

I have one that is a 25% step down 25% up and a stright threw , off a CA .

I'd bet the fender extensions are harder to come by than the transmission. ??? The brake rods could be made up real easy instead of welding on.
