hi my name isb bob im a new member. id like to see if anyone knows where i can get a complete decal kit for the mower on an allis chalmers model  410 shuttle shift. i also need to know if i can put a wider wheel on the front axle. i have 4 x 4.80 x 8 on the front now. i want to put 16 x 6.5 x 8 on it & need to know if that will work. my / dad had a 312h with headlights, does anyone know if a 410 came with optional headlights & if so where can i find them? i also need a good gas tank the one on there now is plastic & cracked. i have it temporarily fixed with epoxy.  also looking 4 gas caps/fuel indicator. any help with any of these questions would be greatly appreciated im in the process of restoring this tractor.

for garden tractors, there is a website called simple tractors.com   Big site for simplicity tractors which is who made most of the AC garden tractors.   I was just on there last night asking questions on a garden tractor I am repowering.   You might want to try there for some of your parts you're looking for.   Ebay is also a good help.   There is always someone parting out garden tractors on there.     I think with a tire that wide, even if you found a rim with the right offset, you would lose turning radius as it would hit the steering shaft.   Unless you modified the front axle and made it wider, or the spindles longer but then you're putting more stress on them.

I have a metal fuel tank from a 300 series which may work [ to replace the plastic one], also have headlights/retaining rings for that 300/400 hood style. The fuel guage if it the "long" style [ about 8"] is available from NAPA.

Bob, also check out michaelstractors.com. Lots of good advice and plenty of specs on there for most of the AC and Simplicity lawn tractors. Some of the lights and other wiring components like switches can be found at NAPA for very reasonable prices. Most of it is very close to OEM. Good luck, and welcome to the forum.
I didn't do it! It was a short, fat, tall, skinny guy that looked like me!
