I have a Wd45 with charlynn ps and a wide front (3 bolt), and 2 WDs with nf.  Would you take the wf and swap with a nf to make the wd easier to steer or not?  Opinions are like elbows, everyone has a couple and I would like to know yours.  Btw, I just found another WD close by for $700 and runs good with brand new power shift rims.  Thanks, Phil

I don't really know on the steering situation, but I'd jump right on a good running $700 WD anyday.

Just going through the steering, cleaning and greasing with replacement of needed bearings will make it steer fine unless your using for a loader tractor.

In my opinion a wide front tractor with no PS steers easier than a tricycle type tractor with no PS.

The wide front is safer on hills or when using a loader.

We have WD 45s with the nf and wf, and you can blow on the steering wheels and they turn, best that I have ever used !!!
