Hi Morley,
I just replaced the 18.4 x 28s a few weeks ago on my 175.  I put new Firestone Traction Field and Road on them (what they originally came with).  Since they are a rare size, not many brands make them.  Those that do charge royal prices.
Mine listed at 925 a PIECE, although I got a decent discount since I was also getting new tires for the D14 and D15.

Heck by the time you pay for new tubes and fluid pumping you might as well buy a different tractor with good tires!

Look at W.C. Littleton in Delaware, they are a tractor parts salvage yard, looking at 1-200 a piece from them. I am getting a set of 14.9x28's from them.

18.4 x 30's look nice on these tractors and are a more common size....should be cheaper.

I paid 375 each for very good used 16X30 inch 5 rail spin out rims & centers to mount the 18.4X30's on my 180.  So about 475/tire + 375/rim & center = 850 a tire.  Let me also pass down the old 16.9X28 tires on spin out rims to my WD45 that has combine rims.  So win-win for me.  Mike
