Just inherited a C model allis chalmers cannot find the serial number.Looks like late 30,s how can I tell . The engine has a 2  and then a 23 to the right.

It will say Tractor No. C#####. From that we can give you the year.

You will find it (hand stamped) just ahead of the shift pattern numbers.
