Going to an auction this morning that has and old AC PTO rake/tedder.  Still in decent shape.  I turned the PTO and the bars turned nice, so it'd still be usable.  I have no need for it, but I'm not going to let the scrap guy ship it to China.  What would one of these be worth?

About 15 years  ago, I bought one that I became the 2nd owner of. The guy's dad had bought it brand new, and he threw in the original operators manual also, all for $125. I've never used it, and chains and stuff are all rusted up, but with a little work, it would be very usable. I think that being 15 years later, $125 still wouldn't be a bad buy, but if this one is nice like you say, up to $300 wouldn't be out of line. Just my thoughts on it. Darrel

If it is in good working condition -- but rusty --- probably in the $400  range around here.

Which model is it?  There were two, this one is more rare than the other, only 2000 made.

I can't find any usable rakes of any kind around here (Northwest Indiana) for less than $700.

May have one in the boneyard. There were two different styles, one with the slip clutch on the big gear and the later on the transmission drive.
