Whew. Is it normal to be sweating while looking at such a beautiful tractor???
Your Great Grandpa would be proud. The AC oil filter makes a huge difference. Looks alot better than the Fram ones form TSC or the AGCO ones. |

That filter is most likely from agco. At least the ones I get all have the allis logo on them.

That's a great looking restoration. You're Grandpa would be proud! Did he 'bob' the fenders like that? I like the look of them that way.

Absolutely beautiful! To me, the UC has got to be a classic iconic piece of AC heritage. And, your families restoration our this tractor is nothing short of first class. I see the allis-chalmers on the radiator, diamond decals on the side of the radiator, plus the diamond decal on the rear of the gas tank. Not that its needs anymore, but I am curious; did AC apply any other decals on this tractor or earlier models like it? Is there a decal or indication of the model ID anywhere besides in the serial number?

As far as I know, I don't know if they were actually factory or not, but I have seen Diamond Plates with UC cast on them that bolt to the side of the radiator. Would like to find a set if they should be on there.
