I am looking at putting a loader on my D-17 series 4. Locally i have found a gentleman with a so-called 300 allied on a series 1 d-17. Was wondering if anyone on here would happen to have any information or be able to inform me where i can get some information in a 300 allied loader. it was originally a blue colored loader and the serial number is unreadable. any help or information would be greatly appreciated.

My uncle has a 380 allied that was originally on a 5050, then on an AA 5670.  I would say it's a good loader, a bit big for the 5050 and a bit small for the 5670.  I don't know how the earlier ones differ, but the 380 is very easy for mounting and dismounting and is pretty well built, but 4x4x8 square bales will break the frame eventually if it's on enough tractor.  I think it would probably have outlasted the frame on the 5050, but the 5670 is a lot heavier built.  I would think a 300 series on a d-17 would be pretty nice.
