Pulled the governor today to replace the gasket. Is it necessary to reset the ignition timing when I put it back on? Is there any easy way of doing this?

I hate to rush an answer but I'd like to get it put back on tonight yet if I do not need to set the timing.

If you mark the pointer and don't turn the motor it should be timed the same. Would be good to check the timing after you get to running.  MACK
