Hydraulic hose help

   I need to replace a few hydraulic hoses on our 160, The hose that's been giving me the most grief is the one that goes from the pressure side of the pump to the filter. 

The "hose" on the tractor now is made of a few dangerous looking pieces of line and has been WELDED back together at some of the junctions a time or two so it needs to be replaced. 

I believe it's 3/8" NPT M on the pump side and a (ring type?) connector where it goes into the filter. 

I think my best bet is to get a NPT-NPT hose and use an adapter on the filter end? I haven't been able to find an adapter though, probably just using the wrong search terms, does anyone know what the connector is called? 

I also need a hardline for the RH rear remote, I'd be happy to buy a good used line if anyone is parting out a tractor. If anyone has a recommendation for where to get new hardline made I'd also be interested in that route.

	I own the 160 that my Dad bought new in 1972. The European hos connections used at that time can be a real challenge to try to duplicate. Whenever necessary we will cut the end from the old line & reuse it by brazing it to an SAE or pipe fitting & making a new hose to connect to it. This is likely what you are seeing already and may be your best bet to redo it that way. It can be made to look quite nice if some time is taken. I would also replace your other line with a hose. 	Hardware store pipe fittings won't handle the pump pressure, you need high pressure fittings. I have no idea what the threads might be on a 160. The parts manual may say, and it may not. Gerald J.
