My uncle just called me and he has started to do a restoration on his D-15 series II diesel. He's looking for the battery box for the fender. Is there anyone reproducing these now or are we going to have to track down a used one? Also where is the best place to get the series II diesel decal set at, any help would be great. thanks jeff

If you don't find one I can make one, but it will not be until April, and will need a drawing.

I looked at a Series II diesel that had the batteries under the hood.  The only box on the fender was an old ammo box used as a tool box.

The D15D Ser I did use the 'remote' battery.  Shows it in the parts book.  I sure could use pictures and measurements and where exactly it was located.
Thanks   Ed

The D-15 diesel had two batteries. One is in the normal place in front of the fuel tank and the second battery in a box beside the fender. On my series I, I only use one battery under the hood since I don't use it in cold weather.
Nothing is impossible if it is properly financed

The Auxiliary Battery Box (D15 II Diesel #14002) I have mounted next to the right fender, measures 6W x15L x9H, mounts via two L brackets to the top two axle bolts, is not centered over the axle, and through the fender mounting bracket.  It appears that it can also be used on other "D" series diesel's because of all the other square/rectangular holes on the fender side.  I have pictures somewhere, but could get some next time I go to the farm.
