I was watching a video the other day on the Tube or internet, I don't remember, but they used Maalox as anti-seize? I'm not sure if the used regular, mint or cherry flavor.:)

I don't know anout Maalox, but I know you can use Desitin baby ointment as heat sink compound for electronics. Also cuts down on transistor rash.

you can use crayons as wax to help remove siezes / rusted in bolts or studs also along with any candle wax, just heat area and melt wax into area and let cool . wicks into thread area and lubricates and penatrates rust.

when i worked a rock-tenn paper mill in the twin cities, the store room always had cakes of bees wax on hand. heat the rusted bolts,pipe fittings,anything with threads.heat expanded the metal and the wax would penetrate into the fittings.

malox is an approved antisieze for use on the general electric cf 6 and the cfm 56 jet engine ignitor plugs...it works.....

My dad worked at GE at Strother Field in from the mid 60s through the late '80s, he to used Malox on GE jet engines.
Always kidded him about the Malox in his tool box, after he retired.

Lou, you could use Prep H if you hit your thumb with a hammer. It might keep the swelling down a bit. Maybe you could rub it on the head of some of the Deere collectors that think there is only one kind of antique tractor. LOL Charlie

I don't know what you could use Preparation H for on your tractor, Lou, but I ran some Ex Lax through my B for the sludge in the oil pan, and that crap ran out of the drain hole like water!

A whole lot of years ago I woke up in the Pittsburgh city jail as a result of Instant Courage! Just as you have mention, I discovered that it DID NOT make me any tougher!
