I see on Tractorhouse a 1992 White 2500 combine at Deike Imp. in Iowa.  The ad says it is a Gleaner R52.  I didn't realize Gleaner made any combines for the White division, but then again, I never knew who built combines for White.  "Inquiring minds need to know!"

John its just a R52 with White 2500 decals,it had a cummins engine. They also made a 2600 that was a R62 rebadged.

I think the original plan (6 week plan!) was to have the Deutz engine in the Gleaners, and the Cummins in the White versions.  Pretty quickly they just offered two engine options in the Gleaner and then dropped Deutz completely.
The innovators offer what others will imitate.
