Well today's my 17th birthday and my whole body hurts after standing knee deep in mud at that auction yesterday. I now know what it feels like to run around all day with 10lb ankle weights on all day. The sad part was that we stood up there for 9 1/2 hours and didn't bring home anything. I didn't know it was possible to sunburn your face on an overcast day. LOL

HAPPY B'day!!  Boy ARE you getting OLD!!  I've done the same things at auctions too.  I had one WD45 that I was gonna get and the darn thing went 2nd to last.  Started out higher than I was gonna go!!  And it was rainin', sleetin, and snowin' all at the same time for about 10 hours that day!  Too bad you didn't get the B'day present that you wanted...

Lets see, when you are 68, I will be 119.  Send me a message on your 68th birthday and tell me how you feel after standing around all day in the mud.  I'll try to hang around to read it.   LOL

Not yet, I haven't had much free time lately and all I've done to it is take the fuel tank off and got it ready to be lined and painted. The fuel pump on our 75 gallon diesel tank tore up and we've been playing with it and my black truck is being stupid again and is oozing some sort of yellow goo from what looks to be the freeze plug.

Me and my friend will try to tear into painting the WC shortly. Thank You R.W for trying to keep me on the right track and Thank You to everyone else as well.

Happy Birthday from a fellow Kentuckian!  I remember 17, only 4 years ago for me.  You're in trouble if you're already feeling your age at 17 lol

Lots of faces and necks get sunburned in Iowa at February all day auctions. Wouldn't think there was enough sun, but there is. Sunblock isn't optional.

Gerald J., another day older each day.

Jeremery,  Let me assure you that there is a good and plentiful life beyond.  Be sure to enjoy every second you can.  It goes so fast.
I was at my 25 year old Grandaughter's House Warming today with my wife of 50 years, my two sons, and other Grandchildren and friends.  You know, I wondered where 77 wonderful years went.  It was all so quick.
My sincere congratulatons on your Birthday.  Let me join others in hoping you have many, many, happy, productive, years ahead.
Good Luck!

I won't even attend a sale like that any more unless I know what time my item is selling. I used to waste days at an auction like that too when I was closer to your age thinking I was going to get a bargain. Use your own judgement. I'm not big on waiting on anything and it gets worse as the years go by.

Happy birthday. I reached that milestone about 30 years ago. It seems like a person spends his early years wishing he were older, and his older years wishing he was younger. I click off another year next month, my 48th. Some days I feel like I'm 20, and some days like I'm 70!   Many more! Darrel
