Ok if you  had to pick just one tractor what would it be and why.

Mine would be a WD-45 diesel. Since I was a kid I have always wanted a 45, I just love the way they look and sound. Now here's the funny thing, I have operated D15, D17, D21, G, CA, B, C, WC, WD, 180, 190, 210, 6080 and quite a few others but I have never used or driven a WD-45.

Oh so many I'd love to have. Guess one that pops into my head right now would be an immaculate 4W305, cause my farming operation could really use one.

If I could only choose one it would be a WD45 for the same reason I have one now. It is the model I learned on.

A sweet running One Ninety XT series III.  I just love to hear the 301 engine in it run.  A quick throttle-up response or just a lopy idle sound.  I think I can almost imagine the smell of some of the exhaust diesel fumes now?

If I could only own one tractor from now to eternity.........ooooo that's tough.......I really favor a 7045 all decked out or 190XT Series III Landhandler diesel but my heart would be for the 45. Really was Allis' icon tractor to me.

I have just one and it is the perfect tractor. My Dad's old WD45 that he bought in '68. I guess I'm lucky. I've had it since '89. Restored it in '91 and now it needs it again!
sometimes I walk out to my shop and look around and think "Who's the idiot that owns this place?"

185, open station, no external air filter.  That is how my grandpas was set up, and that is what I would like.  He sold it on auction, but I do have his WD with loader sitting in my back drive!

Its hard to choose, but it would either be the D21 FWA or a 220 FWA, but probably a DT 240A AGCO with front and rear duals fully loaded. Now im dreaming. This was my dream tractor till I bought it last month.

I'm with Eric.  A One-Ninety XT Series III Landhandler with ROPS canopy and 18.4x38" tires with PA duals.  But, I'd never give up my WD-45 either.

Would love to have a MFWD 200. With a 6000 series cab and seat. Then throw in hydraulic brakes and a extra gear for some road speed.
Might as well move the shifter over to the console too.

Yeah its a dream alright.

A 185 with FWA, synchronized 12F/4R speed transmission (6F/2R speed w/power director), wet disc brakes and differential lock.  I started tractor driving on a 185...  I know this sounds a lot like a 6080, but they didn't have power director or the 6 cylinder engine and I liked the 185 3pt. and control layout better.

Mine would be a wd45 diesel.  I've always liked the looks of an unstyled wc with a wide front.

My old 5 1/4" bore E 30-60 Thresherman's is close to being my favourite. It makes wonderful exhaust noise when it's on a load - there is nothing better, except one of another make which I daren't mention here!

I'd have to stick with my D15 II.  Narrow front, power steering.  At time I'd like to have a D19, but the 15 sure does 99% of everything I need done around here.  Hauls on my small trailer, turns in no space at all, and has plenty of power when it's happy.
It can be a bit cantankerous occasionally, but usually a carb cleaning, new plugs and we're off to work.
