I got nothing against the dealer I bought my AGCO stuff at that is now an MF.  They are all first rate people and for my part I consider them friends of one sort or another.   I don't by AGCO products now because of the dropping of the orange not because of them.  I'd love it if they'd get other products I'm interested in.

Well if they ban you they will have to ban me too. Took a new job as parts man at local  Agco / New Holland dealer last Sept. Great place to work and I love it. I will always have a deep fondness to Allis Chalmers and really like the forum. Good luck in your new job!!!

Agreed, I am in the same boat! We have a great local Agco/MF dealer that also sells Kubota. The employees are really a great bunch of people but it was for various reasons why I moved to Deere for the majority of the mowers I run in my lawn care business. They did have Simplicity as well, but the newer ones did not have the features I wanted.

I will say this though, If  They were still building the AGCO sub-compacts today, I would have definately considered one. I really like the AC tractor and the ONLY orange tractor I would own would have AGCO or AC on the side, and nothing against Kubota or MF.

Well, I guess you were officially banned. The good news is it didn't remain in effect very long. Consider the whole deal forgiven and stay with us.

As of this morning for job openings in North America Agco lists 122 postions and Caterpillar only has 172. I was one of the unlucky 20,000 that Caterpillar let go when the economy tanked. I applied for a blockman postion with AGCO this week. Caterpillar would hire me but I'd have to move to China as it and Brazil are the only places in a construction boom. Caterpillar opened a new research "engineering center" here in my home state of South Dakota but as of today they have only hired a recepetionist, a drawing checker and a draftsman that I'm aware of.

Smokey. Good Luck in the new job.  It's not so bad working with AGCO products.  I've been here for over 10 years.....   Also DougG, If you don't keep selling you just disappear.....  You just become part of an "Interstate Overpass" in your area.... lol
