Is there anything out there to bring out faded paint? I remember a few years ago I saw a ad in a farm magazine for a product that was supposed to work but forgot the name of it.

To enhance faded original paint, just clean it thoroughly with a plastic scouring pad like "Scotchbrite" then spray it with Owatrol. The result is enhanced originality and a lovely patina which leaves new paint for dead! If Owatrol is not available, use boiled linseed oil thinned as necessary with a little white spirit - it works fine and gives a similar result. If you have original paint, leave the new paint in the can and preserve the unique patina of age!!!

You have to get the dead chauked paint off. Rubbing compound followed by polishing compound. Pure wax on top to protect.
