What are the pros and cons?
Main use would be cultivation.
What year did they add hydrolics?
What to look for when buying?
How hard is it to find implements?
Whats a good price?
Thanks in advance

Hydraulics I think they had them all years? The hydraulics were simple and the same across the production lifespan. No depth control and require clutch to be engaged to operate.
Cultivation was one of the main things they were designed for. Cultivators should be easy enough to find. |

well, close. Early years did not have hydraulics.
Pro, easy to work on, parts are plentyful. Con, small. Some impliments are too large for the little tractor.
Hyrdraulics showed up in late 38 but not always. 39 were pretty comman and maybe even standard, but I'm not sure. If it doesn't have hydraulics, look on the right side of the pto. If there is a plate with 3 bolts, and 1 nut, the pump can be added. If you see a big round plug, you will have to change the complete PTO assembly to get hydraulics.
Look for 3rd gear to have problems. Put in 3 gear and drive down a hill. accelerate and decellerate the throttle. If it jumps out of gear it's fixable, but usually easier to just move to another tractor.
Original impliments are not impossible, but not common either. It's possible to convert them to 3 point and then you can use all sorts of impliments.

Oh, price ranges from about $600 for a fair running up to about $2500 for properly restored. Mechanical stuff always has a huge comtrol on price as sheet metal is available new.

Being from that time myself most of the implements used behind the B and C was what the farmer had used behind his horses with the tongues cut off the mowers, hay rake and wagons.

Not being from that time :) I forget about straight pull type impliments. We just plowed our garden with a trip plow behind our B before the snow came. My D15 didn't want to run right and the plow just wouldn't cooperate, so we harnessed up the B and got it done. When we ran out of garden to plow, we finally had the plow figured out and setup right. I wanted to plow more, but the wife disagreed.
