Does the steering work??   If the steering doesnt work Id say the center went out of the torque limited, you might hear a rattle at the center of the tractor.  If steering does work, check the oil level in the trans, dipstick under the seat, if its got oil, the let the clutch pedal out in gear and push the high button on the floor down, if it goes into high then low is bad.  the pressure lite is telling you there might not be enough pressure to run the trans, very few times does the trans pump go bad, it usually somthing esle.  If it wont go in low, wont go in high, steers ok it may be the clutch hub splines bad on the input shaft, but the pressure lite shouldnt be on.  HTH

Hydraulically the clutch is engaged when the pedal is up.....only thing is the clutch isn't turning because the splines are gone. I'm not there but, if your steering works and you can't grind any gears with the clutch pedal up, that's what it is.
