The only attachments that I know of that Allis made to mount on the tractor was a cultivator and a 2 row corn picker. There were loaders and buzz saws and probably more I can't think of.
![]() Here is Jim P's WC with cultivator. The same or similar cultivator would go on the styled WC. |

Mounted mower, there is one I didn't think of. I'm sure there are more. A good portion of work these tractors did was with trailer type implements like plows and discs along with the mounted cultivator.

And the mounted Athens Disk Plow.
And the power lift rear tool bar for shanks, listers, hillers, and bedding coulters. The #250 Bedder Attachment was available with a Cotton Bedder, #450 wheatland Listing Plow, and #450 Corn Lister with fertilizer attachment. Planting attachment models 25, 27, 28, 30, 31, 32, 34, 36, 34, and the Pea Planting attachment were available for the tool bar as well. Another mounted option for the WC was the "Canopy Top and Seat Assembly"; a bench type seat like the B/C seats with a frame and canopy. Mounted cultivators models available include models 21, 22, 23, 41, 43, 45, 46, 55, 56 and 57 with specialty attachment options including mulching attachment, disk hillers, rotary hoe, rotary shields & listed crop cultivators. Towed attachments would include a long list of disks, plows, drags and any horse drawn implemsnt in the shed after conversion to drawbar use. OK, that's all I came up with after reviewing a 2" thick stack of W and WC literature. LMAO |

Someone posted pictures on here a while back of a WC that they mounted a three point hitch on the back and hydraulics. If you're a handy guy, it's not impossible, and makes a cheap WC a really handy tractor. I just saw a custom WC today that had a hyd. pump mounted off the front where the hand crank hole is, and it was custom made into a forklift that drove backwards. Had a canopy on it, steering that was assisted with the hydraulics so power steering essentially and a forklift mast on it. Looked to be a very handy unit.
Here is a link to a picture of one to give you an idea:

My Buddy, Tim Hale has a 37 WC with a mounted corn planter. He does not attend a lot of the big AC featured shows, but will have it at the Gathering of the orange at Lathrop, Mo. in 2014. Dave.

Guys, there was plenty of cotton planting down here. I have never seen any of the cotton equipment for a WC, but I don't know what it would look like. Post some pics, I might be able to round something up. I have seen a set of mounted cotton planters for a C. They are in the barn at my cousins place. Just looked them over last weekend. |

Gentlemen, Don't forget the WC had a bunch of mounted equipment, - check the post that lists lister bedders, cotton bedders and planters, corn planters. However, remember when the WC was out 33 - 48 most of the implements then were not mounted but pull behind.
We did not sell lister bedders in Maryland. The most we sold were cultivators, and mounted sickle bar mowers. We pulled all kinds of plows, planters, disks, and other pull behind and PTO implements.
For it's time a neat tractor.
Good Luck!
Bill Long

Neat, now I learned something today! OK, so there was a guy asking about bench seats on WC (WD?) tractor he had growing up, a few days ago. Thought I'd link that post over to this to show him (to see if this is what he remembered), but dang if I can find it now. Used the search and everything. Anyone remember who it was, or what the title was? Someone posted a pic of a B at a show to compare in that post, and another person suggested it was a dealers seat, so the dealer could ride along with you and show how the tractor was operated. It's bugging me that I can remember all of this, but not the post title!

A little hard to see but the hydraulic pump/self contained unit is mounted to the left of gas tank and driven from front of engine crank shaft by a shaft along left side of engine. The shaft is inside a pipe with a pair of Vice-grips clamped to it to keep it from spinning. The hydraulics operate an early style loader. This was at the GOTO in CA. Dusty ![]() |
