I ma get a chance to buy one and i would like to see more pics, oppions, and what to look fore good or bad. Also it dose NOT have a curved shifter but a streight on and to my understanding that is a wd not a wd45.
Thanks in advance

You can't just go by the shifter. The late model WD's had curved ones. Check the right side of the engine for a side plate.

The shifter is one way to go or check the engine side plate as mentioned before.  If it has a plate bolted to the side it's a WD engine.  Someone could have still put a "45" kit in it though.  Another thing you can do it check the SN.   It's stamped on the back of the transmission housing by the brake cover.

But we have alot of sand around hear.He went in for open heart a couple weeks ago sergery and there was some extra comlications and he was in for sugery for 7 hours and by that time his organs were shutting down du to slow blood flow. He was dooing good that saturday and sunday he was getting worse and on monday he passed away. So now i may have a chance to buy his wd and another tractor he had. Thats all i know about the tractor.

It is a WD, two things to look at are wheel rim rot around valve stems and condition of tires. both items are spendy. The next thing id check would be oil pressure, hand clutch should have good overcenter snapin. Another thot is you will be dealing with a widow--- dont take advantage of her!!!!

Yeah, the whole widow thing is rough. My uncle had a C or a CA and I always thought it was cool. Then he passed away and we got to go over and look at it but what she wanted and what was practical was two different things. So as far as I know it is still sitting over there in the barn.
