Called these guys, Better act fast, $6500 takes it today... Somebody called and they think the radiator is sold...but no money down on it yet, so You buy the tractor, its all yours. Tried to talk them down some but they didn't budge. Top dog is gone till monday, but fellows called him and he said he was told that there was nothing wrong with it...Engine suppose to run and its suppose to drive but.. The fellows in the yard just pulled it off so no one knows for sure.
Its 250 miles away from me and Its $6500 so the powers that be dictate it would be unwise for me to bring home a 440. GRRR

mmmm, If 10 guys send me $500 apeice, I would buy it and let you guys drive it around on the farm... when ever you got in the area. Even let you haul it to shows and back!  Nice guy, Huh?  Heres the info:

There is 4280 members on this sight. We should all send Darrin 2 dollars and he can buy it and have it shipped to him as a thank you gift for this wonderful sight.

Hey, now theres an idea, an organization made up of members with a common goal. Our dues would go to buy homeless tractors to preserve them for future generations to see and maybe operate.

Last few times I been through there the front lot was almost bare. Just a few burnt loaders at the south end. Looks like buisness is picking up.

Remember guys if you save that one your saving an orange painted Steiger.  Not that that's a bad thing but I dont think there was anything Allis Chalmers about it other than the paint and decals.
