check out YTUBE "Tractor pull at gordyville 2011" 4020 wheel came off half way down the track. lucky, no one was hurt. Maybe someone can post a link.

The casting broke not the axle, it was going down the track with the wheel. My son was there and he said he never saw people scater that fast before!

One of the reasons why it's important to always be close attention at motorsports events involving dirt... monster-trucks, race cars, pulling tractors, and mudwrestling cheerleaders... sooner or later, somethin's gonna come off.

you beat me to it smuggler, I know some people don't like component tractors, but everyone wants to push the power as far as it can go and then work on finding more. Component tractors are fairley safe. I seen a Deere light super diesel split an axil housing one night, then the engine spiked and stuck a plunger. Just one bad thing leading to another and he was lucky to have a tractor to take home.
