Anyone know where I can get a clutch alignment tool for a 220? It is a triple disc set up so it would have to have the splines. Thanks.

I'm thinking it's the same as a Farmall 66-series ?? Or any semi-truck clutch parts supplier might have something.

ebay has some for AC, double spline but doesn't list specifically "220".

Whats your 220’s trans input shaft diameter $ spline count?
If no one on forum has it to lend you, then you might try your local Tractor dealerships service shops?? Semi truck repair shops? Closest Tractor salvage yard shop? May need to pay a deposit for loaner tool, but can’t blame them… You’d return it anyway & get most/maybe all of your deposit back then. |

I'm not sure if this suggestion would work, but once on a dual-disc setup for an old Fordson I didn't have a spline tool, and the geometry was such that I couldn't easily measure from the O.D. in and centre the discs just by measuring like I'd typically do when I didn't have an alignment tool. I have a 'universal' alignment tool that I was able to make work. You're supposed to use the cones on the universal tool to sit in the end of the disc and centre it, but that obviously doesn't work for a multi-disc setup. I used a smaller cone that slid completely inside the splines with minimal clearance, and used that sliding all the way through both discs to centre them close enough for assembly. Not perfect, and it was still a bit of pain to keep the splines aligned and required some curses and irritation to get together, but it worked.
