Fit Caterpilar (CAT) Allis Chalmers HD6 Track Chain Dozer Undercarriage Parts - DozerPart

I see it is made in Fujion, China.

Second issue:  I have a 58 HD6B and a 1955 HD5G.  I am told the track chain is the same and the same length also. Was I told right?

Both my units have good track chains, but I use the HD6 on my farm.

Says they are looking for Dealer Network so it might be one would have to contact them to see if US dealer address . As to order one set of rails and shipping would be high - a container delivered to a dealer with multipal orders would be the cheapest on shipping .

About the second question.  Are HD5G and HD-6 track chains the same?.  Understand grousers are not.

the chains are the same parts.... but the HD6 has a couple extra links... longer.

grousers or shoes should have the same bolt pattern.. You could get various widths like 14- 16 - 18 inch wide.... Could be the HD6 has a little bigger shoe.

interesting read... might be worth looking into... if the track SPACING of the links and pins WIDTH is close to fit your rollers..... you use different segments (teeth) to fit the "new" chains..?

D4D is 6.75"pitch. HD5 and 6 are 6.5" pitch; it isn,t going to fit
We can get brand new Pescini V track groups from Italy in new zealand from our local undercarriage dealer Trackweld.  He has brand new track chains, grousers, sprocket rims and track rollers to fit our HD6 crawlers all in stock.
Just some info for yous, must be some agent in the USA who can get the same gear as us down at the bottom of the world
tits tyres and tracks

HD5 , HD6 use the same undercarriage - the number of links vary by model with HD5B and HD5G having 2 link difference 35 to 37 . Sprockets on rear are the same as rear casting of both machines is from HD5 build .
US dealers do not seem to supply parts for many machines .
Track from some early IH machines is close to same spec , though I lost the page that use to be on the NET that gave specs on track .
