Sounds like some bad weather coming this weekend. South may get it worse than the mid west... Dallas- Little Rock - Nashville area are in the line of freezeing ice / power outages..
Like them all, but love the "B"s.

Just slung the chains on my 180, dances like a hog on ice without them. Weather Liars noted last few days we were at northern fringe line, then last night the ‘Line’ moved N. We sit pretty well central in 3-7” snow region, not 45 miles South is the 6+” line just above Rolla, St James, Cuba and Sullivan crosses to Farmington. They are not flat out stating but could slide more North.

Temps to tank, winds to scream, sub zero wind chills late F then S/S/M, add blowing Drifting DRY Snow on all that. Yay

Hang on, hope no freezing rain-temps 0 or below.  Only supposed to warm up 5 degrees during the day. Road crews, stay safe and hope the crazies harm no one but themselves.  Lot of "hope" being asked for.

Supposed to have freezing rain here starting Saturday morning, but maybe Saturday afternoon, definitely Sunday but might change to just rain. Accumulation 1/4-1/2 inch but could be just a glaze or 1 inch. 🤪. The weather prognosticators are crying wolf but it may just be a little chitzu.

We're in the 4" of snow and "significant ice". Never saw "significant" on any tape measures. Kids are pretty excited about 4" of snow. Been several years since we've had that much.

Forecasting -32C (-25F)  or so tonight and tomorrow, then warm up to more reasonable level by Sunday.  Cold is supposed to move east and far south from here.

Currently -13.4 F. here. Supposed to get to -2 at some point. Wind is blowing but not horribly. Today is supposed to be the worst of it, I hope so. Also hope you guys further South/East don't get it too bad.
